3 degrees

The UN is warning that we are now on course for 3° C of global warming. This will ultimately redraw the map of the world.

Sustainable development involves taking care of the needs of human beings today, without compromising the needs of future generations to meet their own. This year, the students at KMD have reflected about UNs three dimensions of sustainable development: Climate and environment, economy and social conditions. The objects are full scale prototypes that explore different ways to meet future demands. Some have worked with waste-material from production, some with self-replicating materials, and others have focused on the conversation around sustainability.
